How to Request Access

Unit Security Contacts (USC) are authorized to make requests on behalf of users for a number of different enterprise applications and services. In the listing below, select an application to view a description of the application, information on any training or prerequisites needed to obtain access, how to request access, and where to go for additional information.

AdobeSign

Adobe Sign is an electronic signature application that allows users to securely sign, initial, and enter other information on an electronic document rather than a physical copy.

Adjustment Notification Application (ANA)

Adjustment Notification Application (ANA) is a web-based application used by departments to initiate requests for payroll adjustments that cannot be processed by the Payroll Adjustment Request Interface System (PARIS). It is used for initiating overpayment adjustments, current pay period time corrections, pay stops, leave balance updates for civil service employees, employee award payments and taxable benefit payments.

Enterprise Resource Planning system supporting HR, Finance and Student.

BeyondTrust (Bomgar)

Application that enables secure remote support, allowing support staff to gain remote desktop control of any system to aid in troubleshooting issues.

Business Continuity and Resilience (BC&R)

The BC&R tool is a comprehensive platform designed to help our organization prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptions. It integrates business continuity planning, IT disaster recovery, crisis management, and operational resilience into a single, centralized solution.

Contracts+

Generation and access of new contract documents for the University of Illinois.

Training Requirement: In order for a USC to submit a request for access to Contracts+, an employee must acknowledge the ethics and confidentiality statement for contracts. Access the statement in Ability LMS at the following location: Contracts+ Statement

Cornerstone

Employment applicant tracking system (formerly HireTouch).

Training Requirement: In order for a USC to submit a request for access to Cornerstone, prerequisite training must be completed by the employee. Access training in Ability LMS at the following locations:

How to request access:

To submit a request for Student related data for UIC and UIS, access the AITS Security Application

EDDIE and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)

EDDIE Standard Reports - A standard report is a predefined report that answers specific questions. These reports are managed by functional offices who are responsible for the subject matter found in the report.  Standard reports are accessed through EDDIE by Folders or Categories.

EDW Ad-Hoc Access - Access to the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) enables faculty and staff of the University of Illinois System to create custom reports, queries, or data downloads. Ad hoc reports can be created using the Business Objects reporting tool (EDDIE or Web Intelligence Rich Client), or via direct query to the Oracle database.

FABweb/Biennial Inventory

This is a bolt-on application that allows the University to maintain information on fixed assets above a certain dollar limit.

Training Requirement: In order for a USC to submit a request for access to the FABweb-Unit Rep profile, prerequisite training must be completed by the employee. Access training in Ability LMS at the following location: FABweb Training

FCPWeb

Capital project budget and financial system

Fiscal Control and Internal Auditing Act (FCIAA)

FCIAA is a State-mandated program to aid Illinois State agencies in conducting reviews of their fiscal and administrative systems of internal control. The FCIAA Certification provides a mechanism for the University of Illinois System to report its internal control compliance.

GC70 Request to Establish Anticipation

GC70: Request to Establish an Anticipation Grant/Fund - Request to Use Expired or Overdrafted Grant/Fund. The form allows University of Illinois System departments to request approval from the Grants and Contracts Office (GCO) to set up or renew anticipation grant/fund code(s), continue use of existing grant/fund code(s), or use expired or overdrafted grant/fund code(s).

Customized front end for Banner HR application.

HR Reporting Portal

A collection of human resources reports developed by the System HR office for use by units, colleges, and central HR.

An online marketplace for purchasing goods and services at the University of Illinois, iBuy combines the use of Internet technology with procurement best practices to simplify the purchasing process and reduce costs.

myAccessCenter is an internally developed solution to assist DRES (Disability Resources and Educational Services) and ODS (Office of Disability Services) to effectively coordinate services for the UIUC and UIS populations of students with disabilities.

My-UI-Financials, Access Manager, & Finance Process Performance Measures (FPPM)

My-UI-Financials is a report distribution system. With My-UI-Financials, you have quick access to all your financial and payroll reports, in one place. Access Manager is the application where report assigners can add, modify, or delete a user's access to My-UI-Financials. Finance Process Performance Measures is a tool that provides you the ability to measure the effectiveness of your business process by presenting actionable data.

An application used for initiating current pay period time corrections and prior pay period adjustments.

An application used to manage Civil Service applications and exam scores.

Purchasing Card (P-Card)

The University of Illinois P-Card is a charge card issued to Cardholders to simplify University authorized small dollar purchases of supplies and small equipment.

An online proposal form to initiate and route for approval a request to hire someone who retired from a SURS employer.

This is a web self-service application from Ellucian which allows units to enter annual salary increase information into Banner.

START (Systemwide Tools for Administration of Research and Training) myResearch applications are the University's solution for online grants management designed to leverage both existing Kuali Research and internally-developed software products.

Tracker Electronic I-9

A system for processing and storage for federal Form I-9, including E-Verify when appropriate.

Training Hub LMS (Formerly Ability LMS)

A non-academic learning management system focused on delivering training and professional development to University of Illinois employees at all three universities and system offices.

Information and how to request access: All University of Illinois-affiliated individuals with an active NetID and password have access to Training Hub LMS. If you have questions about elevated access, please contact Learning Systems Support.

Travel Card (T-Card)

The University of Illinois T-Card is a charge card authorized by the Department Head. It may be used by university employees to purchase qualified travel expenses, business meals and/or refreshments for specific events.

uAchieve

This application is used to create degree audit reports for students. The report is an unofficial audit of degree progress and includes all completed courses, as well as those currently in progress.

Access to uAchieve is managed through the Office of Transfer Articulation and Degree Audit (TADA). Please reference the following on uAchieve Access.

Springfield:

Access to uAchieve is managed through the Office of the Records and Registration.

Urbana-Champaign

Access to uAchieve is requested through the AITS Security Application. For assistance please access Degree Audits/uAchieve information from the Office of the Registrar.

Web Time Entry

Access to enter time using the Time Sheet Entry application.
