The AITS Service Desk is available 24x7 and is the single point of contact for technical questions about administrative systems and applications such as Banner, HR Front End, Decision Support, Two Factor Authentication, and all services listed on https://apps.uillinois.edu. The Service Desk can perform desktop troubleshooting and, if needed, escalate customers to appropriate campus or departmental resources for higher level support.

Common Solutions

  1. Clear your browser cache and cookies. This solves many issues, including many NetID or password errors.
  2. Check the University of Illinois Status Page to see if the problem has already been reported.
  3. Use your recovery options to log in. If you forgot your NetID or password or don't have access to your 2FA device, you can fix your issue at https://identity.uillinois.edu.
  4. Check your network and VPN settings. Some university applications require you to be connected to a university VPN.
  5. The University Knowledgebase contains solutions to common and uncommon questions.  It is the best place to find solutions and help for all university IT questions and problems.
