Subject: Routine Solaris/Linux Maintenance on production servers in RRB, Chicago.
Of Interest to: Users of production services running from all AITS maintained Solaris/Linux servers in RRB, Chicago
What/When: Starting Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 6:00 AM, ending at 6:00 PM.
Impact: All production services maintained by AITS at RRB, Chicago including UI-Integrate/Banner applications, Banner Administrative Forms and Banner Web Self-Service, and HR Front end will be unavailable during this event. Enterprise Application Services (EAS) and Global Campus applications should be available for most of the event with only two brief outages planned.
Why: To perform patching on Solaris/Linux servers.

Subject: AITS Windows Server Maintenance
Of Interest to: Users of all AITS maintained production Windows servers including UA email servers, OBFS Servers, File Servers, PCard, ADAstra, BDMS (BXS), Nessie, PRZM, CAPS and UI eRA
What/When: Sunday, February 14, 2010 between 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM - Routine maintenance will be performed on the production AITS Windows servers.
Impact: Users of all AITS maintained production Windows servers will experience outages during this time.
Why: To perform routine maintenance.
Subject: Reportprod Hardware Upgrade
Of Interest to: Users of databases on the Reportprod server
What/When: Sunday, February 28, 2010 between 6:00 AM and 12:00 PM - The Reportprod server will be upgraded to new hardware.
Impact: The REPTPROD database, streaming databases for Global Campus and DS will not be available during this time.
Why: To perform hardware upgrade.
