Your EnterpriseID will allow you to access university wide administrative systems, also known as enterprise applications. Your EnterpriseID and EnterpriseID password are similar in purpose to your NetID and NetID password, but they are used to access different systems. While your EnterpriseID is separate from your NetID, you may have set them up to use the same password.
Students use enterprise applications to perform such activities as registering for classes and viewing financial aid. Faculty and staff use enterprise applications to access administrative data and perform a variety of activities such as:

To obtain your EnterpriseID you must use your NetID and NetID password. If you don’t know your NetID or NetID password, contact the campus computing Help Desk or go to the relevant campus website.
Once you know your NetID and NetID password, you may set up your EnterpriseID and EnterpriseID password here.
You will be prompted to enter your NetID and password, and then you will be presented a form that displays your EnterpriseID and asks you to set up your enterprise password.
Note: Using this facility to set your enterprise password does NOT reset your campus NetID password, only your enterprise password.

Enterprise applications at the University of Illinois require a "strong" password. Basically, your password must be eight or more characters long, contain an uppercase and lowercase letter, at least one number, and must not contain a dictionary word.
